the main reason for our trek to Utah was because there are a lot of cute new babies that needed to be spoiled, kiss and doted on. It was a total cousins party (minus the pip). i can’t believe how fast this family is growing. i realized that when jake and i started dating, no one was married and no one had kids (on his side). now, all but two are married and there are 7 grand kids. i feel special because of that. and i feel like i’m the reason it all happened. i mean, i dont have any proof, it is just all in the timing, k? fine, maybe i had nothing to do with it besides marrying jake and bearing piper jane. anyway, here are the kiddies. the cute kiddies….

Penelope. i mean…..really. i was telling her something important and her response was “i can put my whole fist in my mouth”

Kelton. he is Penelope’s big brother. i think he 5 or 6. i can’t believe i dont know that. anyway, i gave him a robot bank and i asked him if he likes robots. then he said “i like super robots”. if you know me, you know i’m scared of having sons (i’m sooo much better with girls), but this conversation made me want my own son that likes super robots too.

Sophie (L) and Maya (R). these girls live in alaska. as soon as possible we are going to alaska. it is no fair that they live so far away. we hardly ever get to see them. boo. but when we do it’s awesome. yay.

here is asher. we did not get enough time with him. they were in town for less than 24 hours, so hopefully we’ll get some more time with this guy next time. we are going back in september because my little brother will be coming home from mexico city! asher is my kind of kid. he is rowdy and adventurous, just like me. i also love his fuzzy hair.
