Piper in the window

As I was saying earlier, I can’t get enough of these piptures from our sunday visit. Pip was just the happiest, cutiest pipsqueak that I ever knew.

I’ll call these photos “how much is that pippy in the window?”. Before I start getting comments with bids for her, let’s make sure you all know that she isn’t for sale at all. Go find your own.

Isn’t her hair so funny? We don’t call her Pippy for nuthin’!

You are so lucky to have a little girl like Piper. I can see her spirit shine through even in pictures, and I’m not just saying that to be cheesy. What a gal! She really, truly warms my heart. I can only imagine what she’s like in person.

Thanks, Piper, for giving me a nice feel-good cry today. You are so adorable and precious, I just want to squeeze you!

    But I won’t, because I’m a stranger and you’d probably think I’m weird!

    xoxo

Piper is such a beautiful child! She is very blessed to have such devoted parents. I’ve poured over your blob and I’m in awe. Thanks for sharing yourselves with the world–I think we’re all just so humbled and inspired by your family. My heart is full and I’m sending much love your way.

Wow, she is gorgeous. And so are you! Your adventures in NY have been fun to peruse. And that sweet little Piper…there aren’t words to describe how captivatingly adorable she is. And I’ve got to say…saw your “hairdresser” blog first. Love your tips, but I might secretly loathe people with beachy waves. I have kinky curly hair (though I rarely wear it that way….just can’t embrace it).

    Thanks for sharing.

Ok. I am SO jealous of the way piper looks at you! I know it’s bad to be jealous. But, I don’t have any children. Her “mommy, I love you” face that she gives you is to die for. I hope that when (if,… fingers crossed) I have children, my children look at me like that. p.s. she pulls off the diva look so well. she is only 3 and totally has girly chic pulled off way better than i do. and she can do the splits too. I can’t even do a cartwheel. she has cheerleader genes though, so i won’t be jealous of that, i was born with none of that luck. is it wierd if i ask you to hug her for me. because i really secretly wish i had piper for a best friend. :(

just a new reader stopping in to say “hey”. i discovered you and miss piper jane through your post on cjane and i have thoroughly enjoyed reading your blob. i lerb your writing-you obviously have some other mad skills besides hair stylist and mom. i am also in serious like with piper. as a nurse who generally only deals with grown-ups, i have ALWAYS been awed, amazed and humbled by the resiliance that little children living with medical conditions show on a second by second basis. (sorry for the run on sentence there) i don’t know many adults who could deal with what piper does and still be able to smile, explore, snuggle and ROCK those wing-tip mary janes. have a fabulous weekend. tell piper “hey” from a new fan in virginia.

    Reagan,
I am certain you won’t remember me, but we were in the same ward for a while. We lived in Inwood from November ’06 to November ’07 before we moved to Brooklyn.
I came across your blog a while back through a mutual Inwood pal (can’t remember who) and I have been completely immersed in your story. Piper Jane is beautiful and sassy and courageous and fantastic and I adore her.
Obviously I don’t have an understanding of your life, but I have a daughter, Lila Jane (Yay for Jane’s) who battled brain cancer starting at 3 months old. So, I have somewhat of an understanding of the medical side of things that you guys are dealing with. BTW, Lila is now 2 and has been in remission for over a year (hooray!)
I have just felt a connection and a desire to read about you guys and I just needed to say hi and to not be a stalker (maybe I’m still a stalker, but I feel better having come forward about it!).
I think you are beautiful and wonderful and thank you for sharing your life with everyone.
You guys are definitely nailing it.

Hi Reagan, I found your blog through cJane…. When I saw the names I thought, “how many Reagan’s with little Piper’s can there be?”
I am in your parents ward, and admire your mother very much. I have seen you, but we moved into the ward after you were gone, so you probably have no idea who I am. I didn’t know your whole story until now. Thank you for sharing your trials and joys with others. Your example encourages me to be a better mother and take in all that I can. It is all too easy to get caught up in the messes and tantrums.

    Thanks again!

Piper is beautiful. As is her Mama.

Parker is on a vent at night along with his trach. During the day however he is just on his usual O2.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful life.

I am just another stranger leaving a comment, but my God I have to get it out of my system, your little Piper is beautiful beyond words. She is the most beautiful child ever. Those big eyes radiate pure love, her smile is the most amazing I have ever seen. Such a beautiful, beautiful soul, and two very special people she chose for her parents.
