Piper Jane goes outside

This is a ton of piptures. This time I mean it. I just kept liking more and more and had to post a lot. Yesterday Piper Jane was so happy and cute that I keep thinking about the day and smiling. Plus it’s the big kind of smile that you do on the subway and then you remember that people are probably scared because you have a huge evil grin for some unknown reason. I wish I could just say “Don’t worry guys, this smile is because of Piper!”, but they’d probably just look at each other and shrug.

Anyway, here are two thousand piptures of our walk around the facility and our adventure outside. enjoy. Also, does anyone know where I can get some tiney tennis balls to put on Pip’s walker? I’ve seen old ladies with them and I figured they’re important.

(in this little romper, Piper Jane looks like Jake’s grandpa Breinholt. plus she is stopping to take a breather which is my favorite thing ever. And probably yours too.)

It’s a litle hard to tell the difference between Pip’s biggest smile and her squintiest squint.

I like this below picture because if it were a race I would have won by a toe. Next time I’ll go a half size up.

So fun. And man it felt good to get out of that room.

Thank so much for being so sweet about Piper Jane’s walking progress. I’m so proud of her, but so are you. I love hearing your support and cheers for my little Peabody Piper. I feel so special to have so many people reading about her and sending her fruitful vibes of encouragement. I told her about you guys and she squeaked.

That third pic of you holding your Piper outside brought tears to my eyes… how exciting for all of you to breathe in the fresh summer air with grass beneath your feet~ together! Love the one of her sitting on the curb, too. That’s exactly how she’s going to do it when she watches you or her daddy running a race.
    Smiling never felt better, huh?!

You have the cutest little girl, but what am I telling you that you don’t already know! I love the last picture. It shows off her adorable eyelashes as she sits on the curb, looking down to either check out the bottom of her shoe or whatever. Love your blog, so glad that you shared on cjane.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful daughter with all of out here in cyber-world. I know you know this–but in doing this–you are giving us the opportunity to send love, positive energy and prayers your way. I wish you and your family continued joy and I wish peace and health to the irrepressible Piper. Mostly, I thank all of you for inspiring me to stand up a little taller today. You are all truly beautiful souls.

Piper is adorable. I came to visit your blog from Courtney’s blog where you posted today. You all are an amazing family and it is a pleasure to meet you today. I look forward to following your blog.

FYI: You can find small tennis balls at PetSmart (probably any pet store). They make them for small dogs who can’t get their mouth around a regular size tennis ball. If you have trouble finding them please let me know and I will send you some.

My dad and brother invented something better than tennis balls because it is more durable – works on carpets as well as glides over cracks in sidewalks, doesn’t absorb water, is more sanitary, etc. Here is more info:

  • Hooray for Piper! Lovely to see you all outside together. The Force is strong in that little one.

  • P.S. The tennis balls on the front walker feet are to make the contraption easier to push, which will make it easier for Pieper Peanut.
