Today Piper Jane met the beautiful Hannah. Hanna came all the way from Queens to meet this Pip, and she was all over her. It was heaven for my chicky-pip. She left my lap over and over for Hannah’s, she showed Hannah her toys and she only took her eyes off of her new friend to look at Snow White for a second. Hannah asked questions and we caught her once studying Pipsey’s vent curiously. I think she might be a doctor in a couple of years.

We pretty much played “Musical laps” the whole time. Musical laps is like musical chairs except for with laps, and without music and Piper Jane is the only one playing. Pippy said you can use our idea at your next birthday party except for that she requires a steep appearance fee if you want pro-lessons on how to play the game.
I kept Piper Jane to myself after our vacation because I missed her so much. I wanted to spend my first visit back only snuggling and playing and getting clawed instead of bothering miss pippy with pictures. Today I didn’t mind sharing her with my friends Minna and Hannah and I’m happy to share her with you too after a long week with no trace of a pip. I like this picture below because Piper had such a good idea that her hair went crazy.
After our friends left, I stayed for a few more hours overdosing on smothers and rocking out. Piper even fell asleep in my lap! She only sleeps in Jake’s lap. I swear, the second I pick her up it is time to party. It’s nice, but there is really nothing sweeter than having a pipster in my arms and listening to her saw toothpics (toothpips) quietly. Tisk…my eyes are compass needles and she’s north.
Vacation is good but Pip’s house is really where it’s at.
~I am mostly glad to have had such a great visit with my button girl because Jake is DYING to see her. I have a feeling he’ll be a big fat Pippy hog all weekend. I might bring a timer with me and set it for 30 minutes each like my mom used to do with tv. If you go over your limit, you’r grounded for a century.

I adore you and your sweet family. It felt good to see you with Piper again after your vacation
I also can’t wait to try out your flat iron curls tutorial on my Little One!
This post just kills me, in such a good way! I just love mad scientist hair, friends, family, musical laps, you, Pip, the timer, everything. Oh, and Piper Jane definitely has your runner’s legs!
I am a new fan of you and Piper Jane. CJane introduced me to you two. There is not a day that goes by now that I don’t think of you and your Pippy. I don’t even know how to put into words the feelings I have as I have read through your various posts. You make me do the laugh/cry – when all you want to do is sob your eyeballs out but your heart is so bursting with goodness that the tears and giggles all come at the same time. Thank you for sharing your Piper Jane with the world.
There is nothing better than to have a little girl fall asleep in your lap. I hope you enjoed every minute of it.
So, how many people have told you that you and the Pipster have the exact same eyes? So beautiful!
Thanks so much for letting us visit! Hannah talked about Piper the whole way home- about how she wanted to make Piper a bracelet, take her on the slide, and hoping that someday she’ll like that fairy puppet- until she stopped talking because she fell asleep.
We had so much fun, and I hope we didn’t take too much of your quality time with her. It was nice of you to share
I’m nothin’ but a pip-addict. Can’t get enough of that little bit of pip deliciousness. Ever since you guested on CJane – well – I want to mainstream your feed straight into my veins.
well, i hope you’re proud of yourself reagan b. you’ve really done it. YOU’VE RUINED US FOR OTHER 3 YEAR OLDS! oh sure, mothers might squawk and protest about their 3′s but, yawn. Piper? HOORAY! rosebud mouth? check. graceful piano playing fingers? check. baby bird fair skin? check. eyes the same perfectly perfect shade of mama bird’s? check. she’s pretty much the list. the bee’s knees. if there’s a most to love, it’s that always super studious expression like she’s taking notes to review later in her colorful crib. if you shared your ice cream like you share Pip so sweetly, you’d have really fat friends. xoxoxoxo
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful experience with the cutest little girl ever (next to mine, of course). I wish I would have been a CJane reader during the husband/support thing – my husband would probably have a lot to say about that. Our second little girl was born at 32 weeks – no biggie and she’s fine now. Our third is a boy – a long awaited boy! We were a little scared to have another after the 32 weeker thing. He has HLHS (half a heart). Life is good – we are so SO very BLESSED (not that it doesn’t get hard sometimes). ANYWAY – I’m hooked on your sweet little lovely daughter!
It is so magical to see how children interact sometimes. Hannah’s gentle demeanor and Pip’s sweet adoration made me smile and feel all warm inside. I wish us adults could treat each other with such reverance more often.
There’s no way you can ever get enough of your baby child. God bless you both.
She is the cutest little gal ever! I would definitely be overdosing on her too <3
the two little girls are really sweet, i wonder if Piper used Hannah as a pillow/couch the way she does with you, or if her special guests have a more conventionnal treatment
