I saw Piper Jane on Friday, but other than that, Jake and I have pretty much stayed home this weekend. Jake is sick and we’ve been worried about bringing a bug to our little Pipsqueaker. Needless to say, I’m counting down for Tuesday. It’s going to be a smother-fest.
If you are like me and Tuesday might as well be next century, here is the Little P in her Jammie-jams. What’s cuter?
Piper Jane has this little Monkey birthday card from aunt Dojee that we keep underneath her crib. When we get on the floor, she knows exactly where it is and goes right for it. Every single time, without fail, she books it to the monkey card. It’s hilarious. She even puts it back where it goes when she is done with it!

I’ve been stopping by since you guest posted on Cjane. I just wanted to say that I think your Piper Jane is about the sweetest little girl I’ve ever seen. I don’t know how you do it, but you are doing it beautifully.

Her examining that monkey card is the cutest thing I’ve seen all day. The jammie shot runs a very close second. And I know I was exasperated from being Pipture-less so I can only imagine how desperate you are, Pip-less! I will pray that Jake soon feels all better and that Tuesday hastens on lightning-fast wings so that before you know it, the Pipster will be in your eager arms again! *kisskiss* to Piper!
I can imagine how it hurts your heart to be separated from your child each day–but to have to prolong the time in between visits must be agonizing. Prayers that Jake gets well soon and you don’t pick up the gunk. Is it weird to pray for total strangers? I think you can’t have too many, don’t you? Thanks for posting the cute pictures of Piper. Oh! And good luck with the marathon training!
