Let’s be real here, I have never been so excited to blog in my life. I went back and forth with Piper’s costumes this whole year. I had one idea for sure, then I had another one in mind, for sure, then back to idea one, for sure. Then after our weekend in Tennessee, I decided we had to be super heroes. My family has a thing about super heroes. My mom is Quiltra (because she is a quilter), my little brother is Slitherman because he is slithery? I can’t remember why he is Slitherman. Anyway, with how much the topic comes up at family get togethers (the topic of superheroes of course), I just couldn’t get it out of my head.
As you can see, we have a Super Pip on our hands. I changed things up a little bit, because I decided Piper Jane should be a villain. She is so sneaky, and villains are sneaky. Plus I bet she would totally want to take over the world if she ever thought about anything other than princesses.
The evilness really comes through with her huge collar. Evil villains like big collars.
Ok, I HAD to do it. I just had to get a few shots of her with her mask on. As you can imagine, the mask thing did not go well. Pip flipped in a bad way. It was adorable though and she forgave me.
Oh don’t mind me, I’m just off to take over the world.
Oh yeah, this is the big Blythedale Halloween Parade. This was the first year Pip was able to do it. I’m so happy. It was a big deal for me and we had a geat time.
After walking through all of the units in the hospital, SuperPip was turning into SleepyPip, so we finished up the parade in the Buggy. Confession: Piper Jane has never ridden in the big red buggy, I was ELATED that she did it for her first time with me there. Seeing these buggies being pushed through Blythedale packed full of cute little kids is one of my favorite Tues and Fri sights. Also, check out the kid with the huge muscles behind Piper Jane and Nataya.
I had a total BALL making Pippy’s Halloween cosume this year. I love her.

I was really happy to read about your trip to TN but I gotta tell you, I was really missing Piper!!! My husband and I both just cried because Piper is the cutest super hero EVER!!!! You are such a great mom to work so hard to make her even cuter than she already is! You are so talented! What awesome costumes! That made our year Scissor Girl!!! Thank you!

You are so creative! I love that she has gold boots to match.
LOVE it! She looks adorable. you both do, actually. I love the photo of you sitting together- you should crop it and frame it!
SHUT UP!!!! that’s AWESOME! BWAAAHAAAHAHAAA of course she is a villain. what with the beating up of princesses and the pulling of the trach and the evil grins. she rocked that costume and great job with the creativity…even though the costume obviously picked her.
Oh my goodness, she is the most adorable villain I have ever seen!! I love your costumes. I am so excited for you that she got to do the parade and ride in the red buggy!!

I love Pippy too! Even being a “bad” supervillainous hero, she’s nothing but GOOD!
She looks adorable. I bet the staff were cooing over them all evening.
Thanks for sharing!
Pip looks so cute! I love the pic of her sideways glance – she looks like she’s thinking about getting into mischief!
Reagan! You are such a cute mamma! I LOVE the costumes! I have been waiting to see what you would come up with this year and you never fail to disappoint! You and Piper are officially the best super hero/villains EVER!
I was missin me some Pip! Pip is the winner of
***Best Costume Ever***! Hooray!
Hi! I came over from Amy Beth’s blog and I’m loving reading about your sweet family! Your little Pip’s costume is cracking me up, especially the tiny boots!
I have some family in Oak Ridge (the Henry’s). Maybe you had my aunt for 5th grade! (no idea how many schools there are)
Anyway, nice to blogmeet you! And yes, I do overuse the exclamation point. Sorry! ha!
Adorable! You rock, Reagan! And the Pipster is an evil-genius superstar!
AWESOME costumes!!! The Pipster totally has the evil grin down pat! Happy Halloweekend!
Awesome! You two put all those other super heroes to shame!:)
I RARELY find someone else’s child so amusing, but that picture of Piper with the evil grin made me laugh out loud! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the costume and and the “pip”tures! Very clever!
Piper is absolutely the most delicious little treat!
Holy cow! She is too cute for words! She makes the perfect sneaky super (cute) villain.
I am always excited to read what the Pip is going to be for Halloween. Cute costumes Reagan! You are soo creative and I love that about you!
Such an adorable little Piper.
OK I had to come back and add, Pip in those gold drawers just makes me laugh, inside and out. So many different kinds of plucky preciousness, I cannot describe it. She is simply a wonder. Her little spirit is full of life and hope. The picture of you holding her hands, the one with her fingers sticking up, is too much. If I were you I’d enlarge & frame that one, and hang it on a wall where it’s the first thing you see when you wake up in the morning. Either than one, or the one with her walker, cape flowing to her ankles, and that look that says “I may be small but I am mighty.”
Or both.
Oh, I see now it’s not you holding her hands! Someone holding her hands. Either way I love it, Scissorsgirl!
I love it! I love yours too.
Happy, Happy tears. I love you and Pip! I really do.
Super pip to the rescue!! I loooovvvvveeee your costumes, all of them. Thanks for letting us see the evil genius!
Reagan, this is such an amazing costume!! Piper looks absolutely super-ish.
You’d better start thinking of next year because expectations are going to be pretty high

Really? Could Piper be any cuter. I seriously melt when I see your blog and I love the family themed costumes. Pip is beyond adorable.
