Guys, thanks for letting me wear you.

I have to give a shout out to my top five favorite clothing items of 2010. I wore these guys to death and they deserve some recognition. I like clothes more than I should, I wish I had the addiction of putting money in savings, dusting my furniture or avoiding sugar instead of buying new clothes. But these guys..these guys were all well worth the money I paid for them. (because when I wasn’t wearing them I was thinkin’ about them)

1-Urban Outfitters Speckled Blazer. Muah. I love you.
2-Madewell strappy clogs. You are so tall, yet comfortable. You treated me right, you sure did.

3-Urban Outfitters striped skirt. I can (and do) wear this pretty girl year round. Bonus: it goes with everything.

4-Alexa Chung for Madewell Tea Dress. This is one of those items that I’ll keep forever. I’ll pull it out of my closet to show my cats/porcelain dolls what I wore in my youth.
5-Bottega Veneta riding boots. Now that I can get them on and off all by myself without Jake’s help, I don’t have one bad thing to say about these kids.

Honorable mention: Mustard Yellow cardigan from Target. I probably wore it more than anything else. And also my handbag. And also my black sheer tights. And any socks I have that go over the knee. I’m finally done.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I love clothes just like everyone. Look how cool and unique I am.

But really, don’t you ever have items in your closet that you’re just like “I love you so much because you never do me wrong.”?

No? I know you do, liars.

It was fun to read your list! Your outfits are always totally cute. Now I’m really wanting to do my own clothes post…

So my BFF and I were on a bi-weekly Spring Rolls date downtown Toronto when the subject of awesome but unusual clothes came up. Your horse skirt was mentioned (she loves your blob almost as much as I do) and we spent a nice chunk of our dinner discussing your wicked wardrobe (and the fact that even if we dared to try we wouldn’t pull off a skirt with a horse like you did.) ! I do love my clothes enough that they deserve a full love letter… Have a wonderful 2011! :)

I wore that same yellow cardigan all year :) It’s SO comfy.

  • i have that exact same cardigan and apparently i wear it way too much because i stopped for a while and when i pulled it out again my husband said “we should really take you shopping, i’m getting sick of that sweater.” too bad, hubs. i love it.

I love(d) my black, low heel, pointed toe~Justin boots! Had them for years….They even spent time at the boot hospital having a little makeover! When the shoemaker told me it would be the last few months for these beauties~I cried. It was a sad, sad day :(
Now I am on the hunt!

    Happy New Year!!!

I loved my grey vans with the three rows of velcro this year. We had some great adventures.

  • I love your style! I am a sous fashionista. I love clothes. What bothed my husband about my clothes shopping is sthat I only buy items in completel outfits, meaning I will buy another pair of 7 For All Mankind jeans to go with this top only, and this sweater only. He counted one day and I own over 100 pair of jeans. My goal his year is to rid myself of this horrible outfit habit, and buy singular.

I did declutter my closet yesterday and boxed up 3 big boxes to send to a great longtime bestie in Florida who is in desparate need of a new wardrobe as she has lost bunches of weight–the sad thing is we live in two different climates :(

Happy New Year to you all. Kisses and hugs to Piper. Did you get the princess blanket? I am hoping it made it, as my packages to my son for Christmas haven’t arrived yet and I sent them to his office so they would be safe.

I LOVE CLOTHES! Way too much. I especially love buying clothes for my kids, mainly my little girl, she has way too many clothes. Love how you dress, but I’ve already told you that ;)
