How was your Christmas? We spent the day with Piper Jane and then had dinner with some friends.
Here are a few pictures from our Christmas at Blythedale, our 3rd! All three have been good and we’ll just pretend that first one before Blythedale didn’t happen…
These two are actually Christmas Eve night. We brought her a present (penguin) and Jake brought her that picture with her name written in lights. It’s hanging in her crib.
Look at that mess behind them in this picture…PS can you believe I only bought Pip three little things? We take it easy with the Piper shopping because she always gets so spoiled by everyone she knows. Otherwise we have opened presents all day and there just isn’t room at B-dale for that much stuff! (plus we spoil her evenly throughout the year. it’s hard not to)
Here is a cute little video that Jake made of Pip opening her presents. It was the first time she has ever been able to open them herself. She was still pretty overwhelmed…and not to mention scared of about half of her presents. She is going through some weird phase right now. Scared of everything. (btw her cute skirt is from here!

You guys are seriously so cute.. I really maintain that Jake needs to take to a Pipe with that beard and sweater.. (maybe he could just hold it in his teeth.. Or even hand would be a very effective accessory!)

OH MY GOODNESS, cute ruffle fabric skirt. That’s the very ruffle fabric that my lil’ one is going to have leggings made out of. I’m even MORE excited now! Now…that skirt is so stinking cute I’ll have to make her a skirt too! eek! Happy New Year!

My five-year-old and I just love love love Piper Jane and your family. My daughter announced tonight that she would like to be Piper’s mommy. I told her she would have to fight you for the job, and that you would probably win, since you’re definitely the perfect Mommy for the little Pip!

I love her PJ’s–they match the Disney Princess I made her!!! Love it.
I hope the snow fades soon so you and Jake can get back to seeing Pip. I can only imagine how much you all miss each other. She will be glowing when she spots you, in her room, our of the corner of her eye.
