Tag Sale Preview

Remember that little photo shoot I told you about the other day? I took this picture in the bathroom of my hair and make up so you could all see. It had been slightly ruined by the sideways rain and smashed by my hood, but whatevs. I’m mostly posting this picture because I had green eyeliner/shadow on the top and bottom lids. I’ve never worn anything like that. I always end up going bold with my lips rather than my eyes, so this was kind of a shock to me. The funny thing, is you can’t even really see it because the glorious bathroom lighting is so wicked-bad.But when I walked in to work, two of my coworkers literally gasped at the sight of me wearing actual color on my eyes.

As you’ve all noticed, Piper Jane was absent this week on the blog. I’m sorry, and I feel your pain. Hopefully you wont judge, but I just was over my head with commitments on Tuesday and Friday (today). I kept thinking a nice long visit would work, but it hasn’t. I can’t wait for tomorrow. Jake is going to have to pry pip out of my arms with a bazooka if he wants a turn. And I’m not talking about the bubble gum.

The week started great. I got to pretend to be a model and actress. I was an extra for an Indie movie that is being filmed in Tribeca, I was a party goer in the opening scene. I’ve never done either before, so the experience was really fun. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the best day today and yesterday. It’s because I haven’t been as nice as I should. I really need to be more patient and less selfish. I hope to be a better friend to everyone and more charitable. I have a million things to work on, hopefully I’ll never feel like a jerk again. And to top it off I got in a mini argument with my boss yesterday. Crappy way to end the work week. Oh well.

~random tip from Reagan~ if you are feeling really sad, do not browse puppy profiles on animal shelter websites. I am dying to adopt this little thing named “linda”. She was abandoned at Wallgreens. Jake came home to me face-down weeping on the sofa because of stories like Linda’s. In case you’re wondering, I miss Marley more than ever.

I’m so excited for the weekend. I can’t wait to see Piper Jane, I can’t wait to spend some time with Jake…and we may be getting a new (different) car tomorrow.

Also!!! Tag sale is happening soon! It’s been a lot of work to get everything ready, but here is a little preview of the items!

Reag models clothes for her blob sale from Jacob Breinholt on Vimeo.

FYI I plan on only posting a few items at a time, and again, I’ll warn you with a date/time the day before new items go up. All sizes are 0-2 or XS-M. Shoes are size 8. (some of the clothes/shoes in the video are just to accessorize what’s in the sale)

And in case it isn’t obvious, the cool video was made by Jake.

ummm… that is the greatest video ever! I LOVE IT!… once upon a time I could fit in your clothes. those days are apparently over. Ok, I’ll stop crying now. I guess I’ll just have to check out the shoes. Is it tacky to wear your old shoes to church when you’re there? No? Ok. I’ll do it!

I love your blob. I read it when I can actually sit down and have a few minutes. I love your style. Your story and life is really inspiring. I live in Draper, UT and a mom to four kids. I love your hairdresser on fire blog! Sooo excited to see what you post for your tag sale. Your life is amazing and you are so lucky to live in NYC. Your insights and your motherhood adventures touch my heart. Your darling daughter is so lucky to have you as a mother, and what a gift she is to you. Thank you for reminding me to not take the small things for granted.

Cheers for being the same size in clothes AND shoes, now Im more excited for your sale. I do have the cutest baby jeans ever, if you want them they are yours. Well, Pip’s. Happy visiting with her this weekend!
Oh I just thought of something you could get Pip that she would love. We recorded our voices in a build a bear and our daughter loves to push to listen to it. We did one with her ultrasound heart beat recording for another bear and she dances to her own heart beat when she pushes it’s paw. She loves them. I was just thinking Pip may like to have a stuffed bear that she can hear your voices play whenever she wants.

I have a horribly aching soft spot, too, for homeless animals, Reagan. I understand completely how it made you feel. : ( I hope you have a piptastic day with Piper! Being an extra in that indie movie must have been soooo fun. Oh, and that blob sale preview video by Jake was the coolest thing EVER. : )

The hair and makeup are gorg, I can’t wait to see how colorful it looks in the magazine.

Bummer about having had a rough week. I know what you mean about homeless animals inducing super sadness. I can’t watch movies with old timey battles on horseback because I cry when the horses get hurt. Not too long ago we came across a sick/injured opossum and I melted into a puddle of tears trying to figure out how to help it. Oh man, look what I did. I went and told you a sad animal story when you’re already sad. :(

Chin up! Jake’s Pep Talks (TM) and Piper Jane’s Pip Talks (TM) will have you smiling and dancing around in no time. :)

You are my size (minus the shoes–what are you, a giant?) Can’t wait! Want the floral ruffle skirt. NOW.

  • Comment from Courtney

Oh my gosh. I will die. I will cyber-fight many hooligans for some of those pieces! And I will then do my best to not let you down when wearing them, though truth be told, I doubt many people can rock your clothes like you can! Just sayin.

Ah crap, now I feel like I helped you feel more jerky by telling you how justified you were. (But……you were justified, in my opinion……is that bad?) I’m just big on not punishing yourself for feeling a certain way because at times we’re entitled.
Anyway, I think the important thing is if you don’t feel like it was right, you let it go, and have moved on. Go you!! :)
