Reagan’s hair and outfits

Guess what! The other day my friend was like “what do you want to do for your birthday, Reagan?” and I was surprised because I thought it was so far away. But it’s only one month away. A month from yesterday actually. And then I’ll be 27. Birthdays are weird.

Anyway, I haven’t decided what I want to do for that month away birthday, yet. Buuut, I decided that leading up to it, I’m going to post outfits. For a whole month. I wouldn’t call myself a fashion blogger, I wouldn’t even know what kind of blogger to call myself (unless you’re asking about my hair blog. then, in that case, I’m a hair blogger.). But I love clothes, and more importantly, I love getting dressed in the morning…and it seemed like a good way to end 26. I don’t want to turn 27.

Hey! You know when people who are getting older do drastic things to preserve their youth? I got bangs. Today.

And Jake shaved his beard. I accidentally said “ew” when he walked in with that naked chin/cheeks. It sounded way meaner than I meant it. I just really love him with some facial scruff. But without it he’s still a tall drink of water. Sexy water.

Cardigan-colorina (a cheap latina store), Dress-Forever 21, Belt-Urban Outfitters, Tights-Target, Boots-Bottega Veneta

Hey, that was fun! For me at least. I’m excited to do more and hopefully they wont all be in my living room or hall or stairwell of my building.

Thanks for helping [doing all the work] Jake Sexy Water Breinholt!

Okay this is really weird and bizarre. But since reading your blog and seeing your fabulous outfits I decided to step up my wardrobe with dresses and skirts and new belts and heels. I have been living in jeans for far too long. The last few days I’ve been in skirts and heels and sparkly belts and feeling awesome. I’m excited to see your outfits!! So cool, yay!!

I turned 27 last month…i was so not looking forward to my birthday for the first time ever… But now that I am pushing 30 and have had a week to let it sink in…things feel samey. But I should totally go cut myself some fringe, because yours looks dang cute. J.e.a.l.o.u.s.

Yay! You always look cute, I’m excited to sneak a peek at your wardrobe for a month :)

  • There is a darling girl who has a blog called The Pleated Poppy – and she does a post called WIWW (What I Wore Wednesday)

You should link to that because a)you are both darling and b)why not?

I love that you mix F21 dresses with BV boots. I abbreviate to be cool but I really just am too lazy to type tonight.

  • 27!!! I feel old. My youngest son, Zak, is 7 months older than you are. My birthday is in February too, and I will be . . .

I love this outfit, and I look forward to a month of outfits from you. I am in the process of growing comfortable mising up my clothes. I went through this horrible phase of only shopping for complete outfits and hanging them in my closet as an outfit to be worn only as this outfit. My closet was busting at the seams–literally.
    Looking forward to the outfits.

So, I just want to say “thank-you” for posting your outfits. I am in dire need of a wardrobe revamp but have no clue where to find anything anymore! I grew up in a small Southern Utah town. Now that I live in the city, I need to lose the small town clothes and get big city girl clothes! Thanks again!

Don’t worry, I went through turning 27 and I can tell you, it’s much easier than turning 31 ;-)
I look forward to your daily outfits. At the moment, I feel like I have lots of clothes and still never look completely right so I have scheduled a session with a coach….

Just curious : do you do your nails of a certain colour because you know in advance what you’ll wear, do you adjust your clothes on the basis on your nails -or do you just not care?

You always look so cute – I can’t wait to see what’s next :)

I have NO fashion sense, so I hope I can “borrow” some of yours!

Cute bangs! I love full bangs; the fuller, the more blunt, the better I say. I had bangs for a second a couple years ago, and loved it but couldn’t pull them off like you do. So…I’m really excited for you.
I’m also excited for your outfits and all the lovely inspiration for my wardrobe this next month. Keep em coming. :)

I like the new bangs! I totally think you should do outfit posts, I love your style and you should definitely showcase it. Especially when you have such a talented photographer at your disposal.

Ooohh and my birthday is 2 months, and I’m turning 26 and I feel the same way you do about turning 27- I don’t want to! I LOVE being 25. 25 rules…I’m not so sure about 26. boo.

You know 27 isn’t so bad! I am nearing 27 and a half, and it has been pretty darn good year! 28 may be another story, but 27 is great! I am looking forward to more of this fashion show! Just wish you could come to AZ and help me style my own wardrobe!

Reagan, I’ve been meaning to comment for awhile and tell you that I am loving your blog/blob. Love Piper and getting to know more about the awesomeness of running, and that you also love beards. My hubby just shaved his off on Monday! I thought someone else was in our house until he said something to me. So… I’m here to tell you that 27 was such a fun year. It’s weird to be leaving your early twenties, but it’s also great because you’ve got time before thirty. Speaking of which, I’m turning dirty thirty this year, and am dirtying it up by going camping. Probably at Fall Creek Falls, which you may know, growing up in East TN. Anyway, thanks and keep blobbing!

Hey you should offer, this might sound ridiculous but, “how to dress yourself with style” classes, as I have no style and would totally take a class on how to be the cool kid

Just want you to know that 27 was my favorite age of all time (I’m now 31). I just even liked saying I was 27. Live it up.
