I refuse to write the word puppy in my phone, because I just barely got it used to allowing me to write “Pippy” without autocorrect changing it to “puppy”. It took about a year, so you can imagine I even get a little anxious typing the word on my laptop. Isn’t that weird? It was one of those things that was cute and annoying and made me crack up all at the same time.
As I said before, I hardly got any pictures in SLC, so when Nate and I met my mama in Scipio for the trusty ole hand-off, I asked her to take some photos of us. And since I was meeting the nameless pup for the first time, I thought she should be in the pictures too. Kind of a weird background, but I thought it was better option than having a guy with a mullet or even more pickup trucks behind us. I swear, Utah is probably pickup truck capital of the world. Jake’s dad and my dad have them too!
My mom asked us to smile nicely about 10 times. It’s funny because we didn’t plan any of these faces. Nathan and I are so similar when it comes to silliness. It’s basically my favorite thing. I bet none of you are surprised that he dances pretty much the same as me.
I guess this one is sort of normal.
Here I am with my dad! And my mom’s weird parrot like pup. She loves to sit on your shoulder, like she wants a cracker or something. Maybe we should name her Polly.
I put her on these stairs which was kind of a mean trick. But I have always been obsessed with spinny stairs ever since I went to Thomas Jefferson’s house when I was a little girl.
Last but not least, I swear I didn’t even coax little pup into my suitcase. She just wants to go back to New York with me. I want to show her to Piper Jane. I want to bring her home! I don’t want to leave this dang pup!
I bet some of you are glad I don’t have a dog, no? I am basically guaranteed to be one of those people who are way too nutty over their animals. I adore dogs. Oh man. Not even kidding.
Let’s make this a quick outfit post, Hooray!

Hey Reagan – I’m so glad you are enjoying your Utah trip. I laughed when I read that Scipio was part of your awesome vacation because I had a pretty incredible/worst day of my life experience there last year. If you’re interested, go here:

Have a great rest of your trip!
Utah truck captial? Have you ever skipped over to Wyoming? I am pretty sure Utah is a close second though! And just think, if it would have been summer you could have had a guy behind you with a mullet and sporting the classic white wife beater…and maybe if you were really lucky a boom box on his shoulder. I would have been jeal then!
I live like 40 miles east of there in Salina, and yes I agree trucks are everywhere!! Glad your enjoying your Utah trip!
You need a dog just like that little pupster! She’s just the right size to travel with you everywhere. She’s adorable!
I like Polly. For reals. First name Polly, middle name Pocket. Because she is so tiny and adorable and everyone wants one(like the real deal polly pocket).
I want her too, she is so precious! I think you and Jake should get a dog…
Um…..that pup is SO DANG CUTE!!!! I didn’t realized from the other post she was so tiny!!! But duh, it makes sense, she’s a puppy. Jealous jealous jealous! I want you to bring her back to NY too! I fully support it and will dog sit ANY time.
(That also goes for any dog you and Jake decide to get. Seriously. I want one SO badly, I will take any opportunity I can get to take care of one.)
