Utah: My parents’ backyard (ps i’m home!)

I kind of thought I’d never get home. Altogether I had a delayed flight, 4 canceled flights and a total of 7 flight schedule changes. Traveling was just a nightmare! I am supposed to leave for Michigan on Tuesday, but we’re expecting another blizzard! Can you believe it? What is this place, the Himalayas?

Anyway, funny how now that I’m home, I miss Utah. Ha! But tomorrow I get to see Piper Jane, and Holly’s hair. And tonight I get to see Jake.  Hooray.

I wish I could have seen more people. It’s always that way when I go to Utah. I’m dying to meet Jake’s friends Michelle and Tammy, I wanted to have breakfast with Tiff and catch up with Steph, April and her belly (a baby Jack is inside!) and all my cousins. I wanted to see them too. I have too many people I love in Utah. Pretty neat.

Jacket-Vintage, Button up shirt-vintage (i’ll have to post a close up. it has ladies’ heads on it!), Cigarette Jeans-Urban Outfitters, Belt and Boots-Bottega Veneta.

(this jacket fits me like a dang glove, I tell ya..but the sleeves are so short! I thought it looked cute most of the time, but that top pictures is really funny! I look like tall guy in a little coat.)

My Gummer and Papa (Grandma and Grandpa) were huge RVers. When they passed, they gave their Winnebago to my parents. I have so many memories in that thing! I had to get a picture, because my parents recently sold it. I don’t blame them, it’s old and unreliable. But wouldn’t it be rad to take a 3 week trip in that bad boy? I always think of Space Balls the movie. “Vespa!, Vespa!”

Um, also, would you take a look at my parents’ front yard view? Nothin’ crazy, just a giant mountain…

One of these days Reagan! One of these days when you come to Utah or sometime whenever Jacob (my Jacob) and I get out to NYC again (like we did only once in our whole 10 years together) we’ll meet. And it will be fun :) I’m glad you enjoyed your trip to Utah and I’m glad you’re back with Pip and Jake where you belong!

Trips get busy so I’ll just take an IOU from you for the breakfast hangout :) Next time we will make it happen. Looks like you had lots of fun while you were here.

Michigan?! Yay! It’s so cold and snowy here right now. I live in southwest michigan, and we usually get hit worse than the eastern side of the state… I can’t remember if you said where exactly but hopefully the weather will cooperate so your trip goes a little better. I love the winnebago btw. I wanted one so bad when I was younger with less responsiblity.
