Lacy and I have been friends for a very long time. She was my first friend when I moved to Utah. She even showed me to my classes on my first day of school! We were in cheerleading together in high school, went to the same beauty school and we were even each other’s first roommates in our own cute little apartment. We will be friends for life.

Anyway, something Lacy and I have always enjoyed doing together, is nothing. We like to sit around and watch stupid movies together and talk. We talked about the time we “accidentally” butt dialed her ex boyfriend while discussing all the millions of dates she had recently been on, the time we dressed up like a cat and a bunny “puss and bun” and then went to her sister’s house for a dance party at 4 pm on a Sunday, the time she put me in the dryer in beauty school and watched me tumble around and around..

One of the reasons I have such happy memories of high school, is that even though Lacy and I seemed to usually have boyfriends, we always chose each other (and the rest of our little group of friends) first. I would hate to think I wasted all of my youth on boys. Thankfully I only wasted a little of it.

Anyway, Lacy just gave birth to her second baby! I still can’t believe it! She has little Noah who is two, and Lucas, who is two weeks old. I’m so glad I was able to go see them during this time off!

We did leave the house a few times, twice to be exact, haha. Once to go to a very frozen, but very beautiful Lake Michigan. I immediately thought of the movie “four brothers”. That’s the lake behind us. Beautiful!

I hope to go back during the summer, the little beach town of Grand Haven was adorable and quaint.

Also, I played lots of hide and seek with Noah, once I hid behind the curtains and Lacy said he has looked for me behind there a few times since I left. I need to go back and see those boys!
