A lovely family Friday.

Before I get into the post, I have to say that it wasn’t Piper Jane’s birthday. Sorry about the confusion, I’m a little confused myself!

Jake took Friday off since he had some events to shoot for Fashion Week, so he was able to come see Pip with me in the morning. It was fun for him to see her at school, and she was thrilled to see us. I’m not sure if this is allowed so don’t repeat this to anyone, but it seemed to me that apparently Piper Jane had snuck out of B-dale for a venti latte with a triple shot of espresso. The girl was all over the place with hyperness. It was a riot. A riot that prefers being upside to anything else in life. (check out her curly foot!)

I want to point out the creep Dora doll in the cupboard before we talk about what a kick A walker Pip is. Have we noted the creepy splits Dora?

Piper Jane is more confident than ever with her walking. She is still hesitant to let go of something, but not like before. She is taking steps all over the place, and grinning evil-ly about it.

(above sequence involved about 5 unassisted steps!)

Did you know that Pipsqueak loves to chew on tables?

Did you know that she has mastered the one eyebrow raise? Something I’ve worked on my whole life for no reason. Because I CAN’T DO IT! But somehow she can. (do you know how many stories I have that would be told a million times better if could raise one eyebrow during key moments slash plot twists?)

Then we made valentines.

Piper glued the table and drew red marker all over Jake’s pant leg.

Hooray! It’s Saturday!

(also, my hair is dark)

I have been reading your blog for about nine months, but I hardly ever comment. It is amazing to see posts like this that really highlight Piper Jane’s progress. She is such an impressive little girl.

Seeing Pip walk is beautiful. I love how she expresses herself with her captively alluring eyes.

Hello, I’ve been reading your blog for a while now – I’m from England but emigrating to the US over the summer. I think Pip is the most adorable girl and you are all blessed to be such a lovely family together – albeit in exceptionable circumstances. Terrific posts when you share photographs of her and talk about your time together. She has this knack of being completely adorable in all posts. You also write about everything in a very amusing way.

Way to go on the walking, Miss Pip! Love that “evil” little grin of hers–there are times she so totally looks like she’s thinking “Hmmm…what can I get into next to make mommy/daddy/staff’s heart skip a beat?” She’s just precious! Love your hair–but then you guys ALWAYS look like such fashion plates! Happy Valentine’s Day, dear Breinholts! (Did I spell that right? If not, sorry!)
