Piper Jane’s King Kong side.

Poor cute little piano. I bought it for Pip on ebay several months ago. It’s the perfect height for her to stand up and play. So I got a text the other night from one of her nurses with a picture of the piano after Piper had a little fun with it. In a matter of 2 minutes, she figured out how to completely take it apart. While her nurse was looking away.

When we came back the next day, Jake took a look at it and decided he would be able to fix it, so he got to work on it while I read Piper Jane a story. Silly me, how could I expect Pip to focus on a story when there was something so exciting going on with her piano. She was dying to get out of my lap so she could wiggle down and take it apart again. I was practically restraining her, haha.

The second picture is the face of guilt if you ask me.

Taking things apart to see how they work . . . the signs of a true mad scientist!!!

She wouldn’t be a kid without a little destructive naughtiness. :)

    Deep breath, Mom & Dad.

Reagan, I’ve been reading your blog for a long time and don’t think I have commented before. I just wanted to let you know (in response to your previous, hard post) that regardless of the struggles you’ve been through in your life, I believe, as a complete stranger, that they must have been good for something, because I find you to be quite a beautiful, inspirational woman. I try so hard not to complain about life on my blog, but it seems that more often than not it’s the hard stuff and complaints that come out. I think blogging is not just for our own record keeping, it’s an effort to reach out to other people for feedback and support, and you definitely have it. Complain on! We’re all here for each other..

So cute! Its just like any story of a child adored item, loved so much until the point its in pieces. hehe. She is getting so big, and smart…

WOW that is some impressive damage. After actually being able to feel how physically strong she is this weekend though (seriously I’m AMAZED), I gotta say she totally could have done that with one pinky toe or something… I say Jake fixes it, we set up a hidden camera and then watch how she goes all bash-happy on that adorable but seemingly doomed piano.

she’s either feeling guilty, or plotting her next move.

That’s hilarious–I would NEVER have believed Piper could have wreaked that kind of havoc on ANYTHING LOL!! Gives a whole new meaning to “Doing a number on the piano!” Haha. Go, Pip Go!!

  • Piper Jane is a powerhouse!!! WOW Was Jake able to fix it? She must have had a grand time ripping the piano apart. )

My kids had that same piano; we got it at a tag sale when my oldest was about 2, we walked in and she ripped the tag right off, I said, well I guess we’re buying that! It lasted a while until they, too, destroyed it but not quite some completely as the Pipster! ENJOY!!
