Some pictures from this week.

I found another pipture from the weekend! Too bad she’s glued to her bird movie (as usual).

Jake and I LOVE Five Guys. Their veggie sandwiches are the perfect meatless burger option. Plus their spicy fries are the best I’ve ever had.

Here are the wigs that I worked so much on. I didn’t do all of them. Mostly just the two feathered ones.

Which turned out like this. (the two on the right.) I only sewed the hair wefts into the feathery on in the center, and didn’t styl it at all. The one on the far right I worked my tail off for. I sewed several bags of wefts and all the little blue guys too. Then I curled and set all the hair for the color. It was nice to have a team effort on these wigs and to see them all completed. I can’t even decide which one is my favorite.

Her (check out her feather beanie!)

Or her (check out her fabric-y bangs!)

Yesterday Chantell played with my hair for 10 minutes and it ended up looking like this. I love having my hair played with. It’s seriously better than a massage. I am surprised how many people don’t fall asleep during haircuts/blow outs. It does happen sometimes.

Amanda Blair and I saw “Arthur” last night. I don’t usually see those kinds of movies because I always end up hating them, but I knew I’d like this because I think Rusself Brand is the funniest little weiner ever. It was a cute movie and he really is a crack up.

Also, AB picked up some sandwiches at Whole Foods for us and we ate them at one of those promotional tables in the front of the movie theater. It was funny/awkward when people came up to the table to ask about the movies we were supposed to be promoting. Haha. I did my best to explain with my overflowing sandwich mouth that we were just breaking the rules and eating dinner there, and that we didn’t know anything about the movie. Ha! Never a dull moment.

Woohwweee. It’s been a long week. Tomorrow is Friday and I’m about a mile behind on house-work and Piper Jane-work.

PS I’m having all kinds of fun stuff happening this week over at Hairdresser on Fire. Giveaways and tutorials galore. Go ahead and check it out!

Wow. Could I look any more attractive? Thanks for posting that photo of me eating, Reag.

Holy smokes Reags, those wigs are amazeballs! Good work. They are so cool.
And I totally agree, someone playing with my hair is the best thing ever. Every time I watch a tutorial on HDOF I get jealous of the model because I wish you were combing your fingers through my locks.
And PS, I totally giggled when I watched the most recent tutorial and Jake called it the Hairdresser OF Fire Blog, heeheehee.

I was thinking about Pip’s excema (sp?) and I give my little man strawberry flavored fish oil capsules, nordic naturals is the brand. They are supposed to be the best on the market. The fish oil, helps nourish the skin from the inside out. Just food for thought.

  • Comment from Mary

What happened to your red hair??!?! I am in love with your red hair!!

@Happyhibiscus: Reagan once said Piper can’t have anything by mouth because of her vent, but thanks for the tip about the fish oil because I know someone who could use some help with a bad case of eczema.

Love the wigs… they turned out so great! Not sure if you’ll be able to post photos of the shoot they’re going to be used in, but would love to see them on the models.

One more thing… you always have theeee BEST lip shades. Care to share some of your secrets? Where do you find those fab colors?

I love to have my hair played with. Seriously, I love to have it brushed, and when I don’t feel well i love to have my scalp rubbed softly–tickled all over. it relaxes me and I usually fall asleep. Love. It.

The wigs are amazing. Talent. You have such talent.

I know I say this to you a lot, but I do crave for you to do something with my long middle aged blond hair :)

The wigs look amazing!! When you mentioned in an earlier post about one of the wigs having fabric for bangs. My idea of what it looked liked doesn’t even come close to the real deal. I’m completely blown away!
