Before I went to London, I took a trip early early up to see Pip. It was supposed to be my day off, but I had a work thing in Brooklyn. I normally wouldn’t have been able to see Piper the same day as work because of parking and traffic, but because it was in Brooklyn, parking was manageable. I got to Blythedale at 6am and little Pippy was still asleep. I love the way she looks in these pictures, sleeping peacefully with a blanket and Dora with her. Her nurse told me she had stayed up until 2am playing, so I wasn’t surprised to see her out like this.

While she took her time waking up, we snuggled. And then I had to leave for work.
Piper Jane’s Halloween costume isn’t finished nor started. It is all sewing so it’s time to get rolling!
Happy weekend!

I can’t wait to see her costume!!!
Reags, my sister has a child with severe autism — obviously NO similarity, whatsoever, to Pippy’s developmental issues. There is no comparison at all with their medical conditions. But, my sister has always said that she loves watching him sleep. I thought about that, and realized in many cases, no matter what diagnosis a child might be living and thriving with, whether cerebral palsy, autism, Pippy’s issues, etc., they hopefully sleep peacefully like all little children should. It must be wonderful to watch.

Can’t wait to see Pip’s costume!
Cuteness! Cuteness times twelve! Also your Aussie ad is the first ad I’ve ever watched twice. It’s mesmerizing watching someone play with hair. Not to you anymore of course I’m sure haha. Plus I had to do a double take “Um, did Reagan just talk? Is this blog talking to me?? Oh wait I’m not crazy.”
I love reading your blog and sharing it with my 2 girls age 3 & 5. We were wondering how Piper spends her day. Does a nurse stay with her all the time or does she play independently in her room? What does she do in school and does she have time to play with other kids in the hospital. Those are just a few of their questions. Thanks, Charlotte, Lily & Delilah
DYING to know what the little Pip is going to be for Halloween!!!
Pip is just so precious…and looks especially precious when she is sleeping.
Thank you for the sweet sleeping peek at Pip! Wow, there I go writing tongue twisters. Looking forward to seeing the Pip all decked out for Halloween.
What a wonderful sweet time! I have a bit of sewing envy. All I can do is sew a button then everything else will be glued or taped. Ha!
Happy Sewing!
Can I say AWWWW!!! (I guess I just did lol!) Any post about your Pip makes me melt but a SLEEPING cuddly Pip?? What a treat! Glad you got to enjoy it even if only for a short time that morning. Can’t wait to see what Pippy is this year for Halloween!
Piper Jane is so precious. I love reading your blog so much, and right now with everything going in our lives with my husband and cancer and things not looking so good, your blog is a sure win smile maker for me. Thank you Reagan for being you and keeping your blog, and allowing me to escape cancer hell for a brief moment and smile as I look at pictures of your most amazingly precious little girl.
Love, Mari
