sweetie pie

Wednesday, October 14, 2009 posted by Reagan at 9:33 PM
sweetie pie's is my new favorite restaurant. if you go there, make sure to go to the bathroom! the door has this tiny door attached for a little person to go through. when i got inside i couldnt help my curiosity, so i opened the little door from inside the bathroom and a bunch of the waiters were standing right next to it and they all saw the fruition of my weird curiosity. i rarely get embarrassed, but that doesn't mean i never get embarrassed. oh well, it was worth it and i'll probably do it again..if we are being honest with each other. i wanted to sit in the bird cage, but instead we sat in the most awesome booths ever. btw if you can get me to shut up for a second about the way the restaurant looks, i'll tell you that the food is good too. but back to the decor, all the waiters wear bow ties! i got so excited that the delivery guy was also wearing a bow tie that i waved at him! that made him feel weird, i could tell. and everyone with me got mad that i did it. like i could help myself, guys.
mirrors everywhere! great place for kids.

ok so this picture of me at washington sq park is kind of funny. it is one of like 50 other silly pictures. jake is always like "go stand there and do something _______(fill in with 'awesome, funny or crazy')". so naturally I'm thinking "i thought he'd never ask" and i get to it....quite comfortably. and then he acts like i'm so silly beyond belief, when in all reality, he has known me 5 years. and it should be no surprise that i will jump at ANY opportunity to do something _______. no matter how public or non-public the setting. got it, jake? are we good?

.sweet.

aunt jody came

Saturday, September 19, 2009 posted by Reagan at 2:03 PM
jody came a few weeks ago to watch some tennis and hang out with us. yay! we had so much fun!
sisters are the best!

jody has a sixth sense for gifts. she bought piper the wooden dinosaurs that changed her life.

we ate some shake shack.
we went to green flea

and we also went to the final performance of 9-5 on broadway. i LOVED this play. i have a thing for musicals anyway. and who doesn't love dolly? she wrote all the music and when i found out this play was closing i was really nervous that i wouldn't be able to see it. jody was so generous to buy tickets for all of us.

piper, shake shack, flea markets, family and a broadway play is my idea of a heavenly day! i am missing my family with a capital m these days. after brazil i think we'll enjoy a trip down south and to utah to get out dosage of mountains and family snuggles. i miss my grandma palmer so much. and my dad, oh man i miss my dad. and marley, she is the best dog-sibling ever. ugg and nathan and melanie.

ps i do not hate it when my neighbors are practicing classical cello in their apartments. do it all day if you must! beautiful!

We pigged out.

We had burritos, Pinkberry (they now have pomegranite, like Atlanta's Yoforia) and then donuts a few hours later. We walked along riverside and found these cute moosies on the sidewalk. I love them.
Hi Jake!

go to Billy's

Tuesday, March 3, 2009 posted by Reagan at 8:22 AM

Remember when I was feeling sad? Sorry about that. It went away and I'm feeling much better. Thanks to Miss Miggy for coming up to Blythedale and making a big fuss over Piper's cuteness. And thanks to her little one for melting me with her cute little voice. I think she did that on purpose.

I had a great weekend with my little family. Jake and I ate lunch and Brgr and had some cupcakes at Billy's. It's official. Best cupcake I've ever had. My only complaint is that they don't have them in lemon.

Piper is so cute in this big chair.

Piper is totally not paying attention to the story. She just wants that sock off.

All you need is love

Sunday, February 1, 2009 posted by Reagan at 9:46 AM

I love jake so so so so much. I love being married to him. I love the last two years of marriage. And I love the next infinity years together.

For our anniversary, we decided that I would plan the day and Jake would plan the night. We started out the day with full body massages at Super Magic Fingers. I was really afraid of the name of this place. We weren't sure what they meant by "magic'' fingers, but thankfully there were no lasers or lightening bolts coming out of them. In fact, I was shocked that it was beautiful inside, peaceful, quiet, smelled wonderful and most importantly the massages were amazing. Here I am walking in. A bit nervous. After the massages we ate lunch at Shake Shack, which was a zoo, but worth it. Their 'Shroom burger is a vegetarian force to be reckoned with. We didn't take any pictures there because we didn't get seats and sat on a bench.

Then we went to Crumb Bakeshop for some anniversary cupcakes. I love this place.

I swear, the cupcakes are much larger in real life. I couldn't finish mine. That NEVER happens. Also, their green tea was the best I've had.
Jake got the brownie cupcake with hot chocolate to drink. Like a little kid. He is so cute.
Jake then told me that we were going home to pack because we would be staying at a hotel at rockefeller plaza. He took me ice skating, something I have wanted to do with him ever since we started dating 4 years ago. Seriously, it's been not so casually suggested by me over 50 times.

I'm a much better ice skater than I remember. I've decided not to go pro only because I'd rather be a rockette.

Here is Jake taking a breather. I think this picture is darling. Him, with his hands in his pocks, relaxing with his little skates on....

We then ate a delicious dinner at Fireside where we "kindled our senses". This place was delicious. Jake had chicken and I had butternut squash soup.

The whole day was blissful and romantisized.

*We are still at the hotel because Jake wont stop sleeping.

I love you more than blank

Wednesday, January 21, 2009 posted by Reagan at 8:55 AM
I found this blog called I love you more than blank, recently and I think it is so sweet. I am not going to subscribe because it gets a little repetitive, but it's fun to look at every once in a while. They take suggestions and these were mine that made it through. Some are to Jake, some are to Piper, some are to my sisters, some are to my nieces and blah blah blah.....sometimes I go on and on about things people don't care about. Sorry.

Fat Kids

Monday, December 8, 2008 posted by Reagan at 12:39 PM

Jake and I finished that 5 lb bag of Peanut M&Ms in two weeks, by ourselves. We also finished a box of trader joe's chocolate covered shortbread cookie stars in one day. And it was a really big box.

It's been really fun while I've allowed it to last, but it's time to go back to my old ways and shun anything delicious. Because I am sick of feeling sick.

*oh yeah, I got this from google images so if these are your children and you're pissed, let me know and I'll take the pic down.
